After the process of adoption has placed a child within the legal custody of a person or persons other than to those to whom the child was born, the legal rights of the natural parents of the child no longer exist. The process of adoption requires that the persons looking to adopt a child meet many legal conditions set by the State. This includes home visits, evaluations by the State, proof of financial responsibility, and meeting a number of other complex obligations. Our office has extensive experience in quickly addressing all of the legal requirements so that the entire process of adoption is less burdensome.
